Lord of Mysteries Episode 1 Review Warning: Spoilers! >.< Intro I really appreciate the intro with the explanation of the world-building. The voiceover is excellent, seriously, it sounds amazing. The animation is crisp and fluid, kind of reminds me of Castlevania . The sound effects are top tier too, feels like something out of a Michael Bay movie. A bit too many vine booms though, XD. This is actually my first time watching a Chinese anime, and I’m honestly impressed. I love how the animators play with perspective, it adds a lot to the atmosphere and aesthetic. A 34‑minute first episode? That’s promising. Now, the intro with the world-building might help newcomers get familiar with the story, but personally, I found it a bit off‑putting. These kinds of info‑dumps usually bore me. That said, it looks like they dive straight into the plot, no time wasted. I love that. My Dress Up Darling Season 2 First Episode Review Warning: Spoilers ahead! Introduction The first two minutes made me think it was a different anime, however I loved the small skit. An anime within an anime is definitely a cool idea, and the animation is as good as always since the first season was well animated. The intro was really good, great song selection for the OP with classic Japanese pop, and the animation is really fluid, hats off to Cloverworks, that studio is giving their all. One thing I did not like about the intro animation is that they added white regions around it and let the credits roll there, it takes away space from the animation, I would have liked it full screen.
